Friends, today is one of my favorite days of the year – the day we launch the Fall collection in the shop! Each year, this signifies the start of Fall for me and by now you all know how much I looooove Fall.
This year, in particular, I’m excited to share the new designs, but perhaps even more so, I’m excited to share the heart behind them.
Introducing the GATHER Collection… Pumpkins, falling leaves, crisp air, the collection has all of it, but in addition to that, each piece holds a special meaning to me about being present and I hope you find it to be meaningful to you as well.
So what does the Gather Collection mean to us?
It’s a long-overdue hug. The smell of gravy on the stove. The laugh of your new niece. Cackling through a meal with your most cherished friends or celebrating your dad’s 70th. Telling your favorite people you love them again and again.
It’s focusing on the hearts we share our four walls with daily and the ones we invite inside to enjoy a meal, a cup of tea, or just a slow chat.
Our mission this fall is to find joy right where it begins—at home.
It’s at home where these important connections, moments, and conversations are made. It’s the everyday, ordinary bits of life that become the markers of a life well-lived and I truly believe in the simple beauty of surrounding ourselves with pieces that are not only pretty but meaningful as well. It is in that spirit, I create and hand-draw every piece. I want you to know what an honor it is when you choose to place a Lily & Val print, canvas, or pillow in this sacred space you call home. So, thank you!
My intention with the artwork is to fill your home with warmth and familiarity while gracefully nodding to modern style.
