Friends, I am sitting down to write this update to you with a full heart and a gratefulness that I can’t express! Just a few short months ago I was announcing that we sold out of Keepsake Kitchen Diaries- and although we received more back in stock for the holidays, we have yet again sold out (!!!) I wanted to take the opportunity to explain a bit more…
When we first produced the Keepsake Kitchen Diary we had no idea what would happen! The concept was something near and dear to my heart (you can read that story here) and I knew I personally wanted to own it! This was our first time manufacturing a product like this and it was both exciting and scary! Selling out this past October was an amazing validation to our entire team and we couldn’t have been more thrilled. We were able to get more back in stock and, thanks to the amazing work of our shipping team, ship them just in time for Christmas.
We produced what we felt would get us through the holiday season and far into the spring, but yet again, your support and love for the Kitchen Diary this holiday season blew us away! I didn’t expect to be letting you all know in January that we are sold out again. As a small business, we do our best to gauge our ordering and manufacturing. We want to make sure we have everything available to our customers, but at the same time, manage our inventory and grow in a smart way. This is a tricky balance and I appreciate your patience with us and we continue to figure everything out.
With all that being said, I’m happy to tell you that more Keepsake Kitchen Diaries are on their way! They will be shipping out to arrive on your doorstep at the beginning of May (just in time for Mother’s Day). You can still reserve & purchase your diaries on lilyandval.com. They are listed as “back-ordered” and will ship to you as soon as they hit our warehouse. As the date gets closer, we will continue to update you.

Our goal for this feed is to provide inspiration for using your books and to share what others in the Kitchen Diary community are creating!
We’ve heard from some of you that you feel intimidated to dive in, but I encourage you to let go of the pressure and get messy!! You don’t need to be artistic at all to make the pages beautiful. The imperfections are part of what will make the book real and well-loved. We do hope these posts inspire you to make the pages your own and create a memorable heirloom.
