Happy July, everyone! One of my favorite memories from last summer was visiting a Lavender Farm and picking my own bundle. The smell was intoxicating and the hum of the bees just made for such a magical evening.
I’ve since painted lavender fields many times, trying to capture the calm and beauty of that experience. I just can’t get enough! In light of the launch of my new website, www.valeriemckeehan.com, to house my fine art soft pastel paintings, I wanted to offer this painting as July’s desktop and iPhone wallpaper. I hope it brings some calm this month!
