Lily & Val Presents: Pretty Ordinary Friday #48

Pretty Ordinary gives you a sneak peek into Lily & Val behind the scenes! On Lily & Val Living!

For this week’s Pretty Ordinary Friday #48, we’re documenting snapshots of our week. While our pictures may not be the prettiest or the most interesting, we enjoyed each instance and want to remember them! These are the behind-the-scenes, in-between moments – the small peeks that would otherwise be forgotten. Join us as we use this series to scrapbook the unedited, memorable happenings at Lily & Val and what is inspiring our team!

The team says:

2. “Live concert by an extremely talented crew who can play multiple instruments – fun with Kishi Bashi!” –Alivia

3“A tiny sneak peek of a brand new product I’ve been working on this week! It will be unveiled at National Stationery Show!” -Valerie

Lily & Val Presents: Pretty Ordinary Friday #48 shares Valerie McKeehan family picture, Easter food favorite of deviled eggs, home made guacamole4“3 of my favorite guys around – my husband, Mak, and my brothers, Alec and Neal. Today is Neal’s birthday!! This photo was taken on Easter.” -Valerie

5. “The past two Easters, Mak and I spent the day before making deviled eggs. For those that make deviled eggs, you know it’s a long process, but I enjoy it. Last year, when we brought them to my parent’s house, my Dad said they reminded him of his Mother. That was really special to me and I told myself I want to make them for him every year. I can’t take any credit for the filling recipe though, that is all Mak’s creative chef skills!” -Valerie

6. “I think homemade guacamole is going to be a staple at the McKeehan household this spring/summer. I mix mine with: jalapeno, red onion, green onion, garlic, cilantro, and lemon juice. Delicious.” -Valerie

Lily & Val Presents: Pretty Ordinary Friday #48 posts Easter desserts to look like flowers, Easter egg hunt, cute dog in bunny ears7“My mom is SO creative! She made these “hyacinth” desserts out of cheerios, fruit roll ups, and oreo dirt in the terra cotta pots. She sat them at each place setting at Easter dinner.” -Valerie

8. “My daughter made out like a bandit at the Easter Egg hunt at Mimi and Pap Pap’s house!” –Maureen

9. “My dog did not find this headband as amusing as I did obviously…” –Maureen
