For this week’s Pretty Ordinary Friday #57, we’re documenting snapshots of our week. While our pictures may not be the prettiest or the most interesting, we enjoyed each instance and want to remember them! These are the behind-the-scenes, in-between moments – the small peeks that would otherwise be forgotten. Join us as we use this series to scrapbook the unedited, memorable happenings at Lily & Val and what is inspiring our team!
The team says:
1. “I’m in Nashville, TN this week for a trip to celebrate my Mom’s 60th birthday! Our hotel is surrounded by magnolia trees and I am in love!” –Valerie
2. “Mak and I before heading out in Nashville! Side note: I’ve been reading “Daring Greatly” by Brene Brown while on this trip and it’s changing my life. The time to rest has been good for my soul.” –Valerie
3. “We went to the Country Music Hall of Fame for Father’s Day. I, of course, loved all the hand-written displays best. I thought this paper was especially cool because the top handwriting belongs to Bob Dylan and the bottom is Johnny Cash.” -Valerie
4. “Me and my amazing Dad on Father’s Day! I’m so grateful I got to spend Father’s Day with him and my family in Nashville. It’s a trip I will never forget.” -Valerie
5. “The office was a little crazy this week, to say the least! We had a photo shoot going on amidst training and phone calls! Despite the chaos, photo shoots are my favorite days in the office.” -Valerie
6. “A little snap from our photo shoot! It looks like a beautiful kitchen, but it’s actually just a tile backdrop panel that Emily made! Tricky.” -Valerie
7. “At the coffee shop on my street – encouragement comes in many forms.” -Alivia
8. “Friends give the sweetest gifts.” -Alivia
9. “A tiny treasure found while walking in the neighborhood!” -Alivia
10. “Warm Summer evenings on the trail with my girls is one of my most favorite things.” -Maureen
11. “This beautiful cotton candy sky was made possible by all of the crazy rain we’ve experienced in Pittsburgh the past few weeks. This picture truly doesn’t give justice to how breath-taking the colors were.” -Maureen
