Lily & Val Presents: Pretty Ordinary Friday #70

Pretty Ordinary gives you a sneak peek into Lily & Val behind the scenes! On Lily & Val Living!

For this week’s Pretty Ordinary Friday #70, we’re documenting snapshots of our week. While our pictures may not be the prettiest or the most interesting, we enjoyed each instance and want to remember them! These are the behind-the-scenes, in-between moments – the small peeks that would otherwise be forgotten. Join us as we use this series to scrapbook the unedited, memorable happenings at Lily & Val and what is inspiring our team!

The team says:

Lily & Val Presents: Pretty Ordinary Friday #70 with soft neutrals for 2018, black and white botanicals and tea for two

1. “Loving the soft neutrals lately. This blush and gray floral pattern is for something exciting coming in 2018!” – Valerie

2. “More hand-drawn botanicals!! I can’t get enough! This is one of the new prints in the L&V Fall Collection and we blew it up for a window display in the Flagship Store!” – Valerie

3“This past Saturday was a slow one. Drinking hot apple cider in our favorite mugs and watching a movie during the day. I loved it.” – Valerie

Lily & Val Presents: Pretty Ordinary Friday #70 with new botanicals, raspberry sundaes and DIY yarn wall hangings

4“Yes, even more hand-drawn black and white botanicals this week! These will be new labels for World Label! Stay tuned!” – Valerie

5. “Over the weekend we went to the Mt. Pleasant Glass & Ethnic festival with my Mom. This festival reminds me of my childhood. Growing up we ALWAYS had to get something from the Sand Hill Berries stand. Mak and I got raspberry sundaes and my Mom got raspberry cheesecake. It was worth the calories just for the nostalgia of it.” – Valerie

6. “Emily shared the wonderful tutorial for this yarn wall hanging on the blog a few weeks ago and I just had to make one for myself! It’s hanging as a statement piece in my dining room!” – Valerie

Lily & Val Presents: Pretty Ordinary Friday #70 with floral crowns, faux wedding bouquets and beautiful sunrises

7. “I made a sample flower crown for the workshop we have coming up…and things got a little out of control!” – Emily

8. “Working on a faux floral wedding bouquet for someone special to me. I love the idea of being able to keep your bouquet forever!” – Emily

9. “These beautiful sunrises are the perfect way to start my busy days. For just a minute, I am able to stop and appreciate the beautiful surroundings.” – Nicole
