1. “We hosted my Dad and family for Father’s Day dinner! Fruit cobbler is one of his favorite desserts, so I made him a mixed berry cobbler. It was SO good. I recorded the recipe in my Keepsake Kitchen Diary and will be sharing it soon.” –Valerie

2. “My church, Northway, finished up a series called “Around the Table.” This series really spoke to my heart. They talked about the importance of gathering around the table and how deep, important conversations happen there. I loved it.” -Valerie

3. “Our big L&V week continued with our team photo shoot! I absolutely loved having our team together. Lindsey Zern Photography took our headshots and photos. She was such a sweetheart to work with!” – Valerie

5. “While Emily was in town from Indiana we decided to get creative and work on some fun blog content for Lily & Val Living! This DIY 3-D flower canvas project just might be one of our favorites to date. We released the first part this week and here is a peek of the second part releasing soon!” –Valerie

6. “Before Emily left, we got creative in our Keepsake Kitchen Diaries with a KKD crafting session! I was excited to pull out my markers, stickers, washi, colored pencils, paints and more to use for filling in the pages. We’ll be sharing more of our spreads soon, too.” -Valerie

7. “We worked on the 3-D floral canvas while I was in Pittsburgh!  It was a beautiful day so we took everything out onto Val’s deck and enjoyed getting creative!” -Emily

8. “This was a HUGE week at Lily & Val that started with the Fall/Holiday photo shoot with Emily of The Virginia Lynn co. Emily did not disappoint with her beautiful styling. I cannot wait to share the theme & designs for this year’s L&V Christmas collection. Let’s just say lots of candy was involved in the shoot!” –Emily

9. “Here is one of the sweet treats that made it to the holiday shoot!  A tip from Emily: take regular white macarons from the store and use watercolor paints to fit your color scheme!  Although they weren’t edible, they looked delicious with our holiday designs!” -Emily
