We’re so grateful for the writers and poets who can put our feelings into such beautiful words! We also love that Autumn’s crisp breeze gives us an excuse to get cozy and grab a book or journal to relax and rest. Because of these reasons, we decided to take inspiration from our F. Scott Fitzgerald card and celebrate books through our October Happy Mail Idea!
Sending a friend one of your favorite books or a new journal will encourage them to rest and enjoy the cool evenings of Autumn! We found the most beautiful mini journals that look like vintage French books and thought they would make a perfect addition to this Happy Mail idea! The pages are blank inside to write down ideas or important thoughts whenever they strike.
Of course, writing in a journal is always better with a pretty pen! We love these gold ones found at Staples! Who can pass up gold pens?!

Don’t forget to decorate the envelope! To continue the literature theme, cut out a page from an old book into a heart and glue it to the envelope. Then, write the recipient’s name on it! This package would definitely be a wonderful surprise in someone’s mailbox, especially for the book lover!
